This is a "hands-on" workshop. All digital "work" images will be provided, however you need to bring your own laptop computer. We will begin with the "concept" and planning stage and describe how to set-up the subject photo shoot to achieve optimum results. Next we'll go through the shooting and/or selection of the background setting and elements to insure that the final results are believable. Along the way, we'll go through the best way to use various tools in Photoshop (yes, you must have Photoshop on your computer) to mask around hair and other difficult areas. While getting all the elements into a composite image is important the difference between good and great is insuring that the lighting and other factors are in balance so that the "illusion" is believable - and that is where "split-toning" and other filters come into play. We'll go through a number of techniques to insure that you get an image that is polished! At the end of the day you will receive several "free" brushes (electronic brushes) for Photoshop to allow you to make the fine-tuning modifications you will need to add and modify hair, correct facial flaws and stylize your backgrounds.
